Defense of Law Enforcement and Governmental Agencies
Upholding constitutional standards established by the Fourth and Fourteenth Amendments is not only a legal obligation but also a fundamental aspect of maintaining public trust and legitimacy. We have an unwavering obligation to evaluate the actions of officers, ensuring that there is restraint and judiciousness in a use of force incident. Our commitment to the scrutiny of the officer's use of force is essential for fostering a society where justice, fairness, and respect for individual rights prevail.
LEGAL COMPLIANCE
Law enforcement officers must act within the confines of the law. We offer opinions regarding LEO’s actions and their alignment with constitutional standards.
TRAINING & GUIDELINES
We will review departmental policies, procedures, training protocols, and guidelines to ensure that officers operate within legal boundaries.

RISK MITIGATION
Our in-depth knowledge of the Fourth and Fourteenth Amendments can potentially mitigate legal risks. We can assess policies, procedures, and past incidents offering sound practical strategies to minimize risks.

PUBLIC TRUST AND ACCOUNTABILITY
Upholding constitutional rights fosters public trust in law enforcement. A clearer understanding fosters justifiability, transparency, and accountability.
Helping to address concerns from the community regarding the use of force ensures that the actions taken by law enforcement are rigorously scrutinized.
LEGAL JUSTIFICATION
When use-of-force incidents occur, we play a pivotal role in evaluating these incidents against current legal standards. We assess whether a LEO’s actions were justified under the Fourth and Fourteenth Amendments.
We evaluate the LEO’s actions and/or reactions to determine whether the officer’s perception of the threat was reasonable and were his actions towards that perceived threat reasonable. We apply the standard of “objective reasonableness” to evaluate whether a specific officer acted in a way that similarly trained LEO’s would have acted.
